Hydrolube Heavy Duty Plumber’s Fix PTFE Thread Seal Tape is a heavy duty high density tape of 1.2g/cm3 for use in plumbing, HVAC, and general industrial applications. Made of 100% virgin PTFE material, it offers excellent chemical resistance to most common chemicals and is ideal for sealing threaded pipe connections between 12.7mm (1/2 inch) and 50.8mm (2 inches) in diameter.
Withstanding extreme operating temperatures between -268oC and +260oC, the distinctive pink colour of the tape provides a visual indication to signify its suitability for various threaded connections in potable water applications.
